Honor what your body is trying to tell you! 

It’s been an interesting week.

At the beginning of the week my neck started to get really tight and hurt. That’s typically a sign that I need to take a break and reassess my schedule and what is going on in my life.

I saw my favorite clinicians who helped relieve the tension in my neck and I looked inward and outward to see what I needed to shift to create more peace.

I’ve been busy seeing clients, looking at new locations to expand my business and doing many things that surround growing a business. Quite a task!

I thought I had done a pretty good job of taking care of myself, even canceling some appointments to give myself a break. 

However… yesterday morning as I was preparing to leave the house I leaned over to pick up a mug and felt a familiar pull and sharp pain in my low back. Ahh…. another sign. 

“I hear you”, I tell myself! The message got really clear that a change is needed. And I am now in the process of making some bigger shifts to my schedule to create more time for me.

Do you listen and act upon what your body is telling you? The body is very wise.  The messages will start out soft and if we don’t pay attention they will get louder and louder.
